Last night I watched "Ryan's Well" from The Spiritual Cinema Circle and I posted there too. It's the story of a six-year-old named Ryan Hreljac, who, while in kindergarten, heard that children in an African village in Uganda had to walk a long, long way just for fresh drinking water. He was so shocked he decided to raise the $70 he believed it would take to drill a well for the village. When it turned out that it would actually take thousands of dollars to drill the well, he decided to raise that amount.
What's so special about this story is this little boy believed he is as responsible as anyone for creating a solution to an enormous problem. In this case - the lack of fresh and available drinking water in Africa. Ryan's story demonstrates if we're willing to take responsibility for the state of the planet and the plight of others, the world can truly be a better place! In fact he has now gone on to raise more than a million dollars!
His parents said that when confronted with the short fall, Ryan simply said "I guess I'll need to do more chores then".
How many of us would have scaled back our dreams to fit what we perceive as "Reality"? How many of us when confronted with such an obstacle, like Ryan would simply say, "Ok, I guess I'll do a little more then!" AND STILL MAKE IT HAPPEN.
I came away form that movie thinking of the areas I wanted to do a little more in. These are the "wells" I will build, just as Ryan built his:
The first thought that came up were those related to my Annasa friends and family. This is where many of my friends and I make the money to fund all the great projects we're involved with. It's really a great way to make a living and a boat load of fun. I want to really work more with the group I have. I want to support them more in their business and their goals, play with them more. I'm even thinking of moving in or near by people and really working with them in their areas to build massive, income generating groups, of like minded people. These are the best people I know and it is really an honor to count them as my friends. Click on my friends list here at Powerful Intentions and see for yourself.
Powerful Intentions (where you are now) will grow into a huge group of like minded people that will help millions of people by creating a space that is pre-conditioned to help them achieve their goals (see home page). This is important to me and I there is no other place on the planet like it. I'm going to help make it happen.
I'm starting a non-profit that I can direct and be thoroughly involved with. I've partnered with a few and done some great things, but they never seemed to really take off and become self sufficient. I met Gerald Hilwite last week. He's a former Denver Bronco (4 times to Super Bowl) and founder of a non-profit that's listed as one of the 172 points of light by Former President Bush. He has a passion to help kids and is joining me in my Annasa business. By pulling together I know we can create an amazing non-profit organization that will be big and help thousands of kids. It will be effortless and it will happen with ease. I am already leaning on all my business associates and all are eager to help!
A) I'm going to transition from vegetarian to Vegan. This is a personal choice. Some time ago I came to a place where eating meat became undesirable (for me). What originally happened was I seriously noticed a difference in meditation when I quit eating meat. Every time I would start again I would get a real bad vibe from it. It's as simple as that.
B) I'm going to have a regular schedule for working out and meditation. I need to make exercise more important to me. Just like anything else in life it has to be important to you; it isn't going happen. Things are already falling in place. I was just informed the new office for Annasa will have a GYM and free access for everyone! I have an apartment near there so this will be cool. The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success work!
What I will invest to make this happen.............
I have been contemplating getting rid of my television and am going to do it. In an effort to do a little more to make all of the above happen I've decided to invest all the time I currenty spend watching TV into the above goals. Three weeks ago I cancelled the 372 satellite channels I had flowing through four television sets into my home as a test. I needed to see if I could survive without Inside Politics! I'm happy to report I CAN! I've found it to be much more peaceful around the house. I've been staying at my apartment in San Francisco more and it doesn't have a television. I never got around to being there to meet the cable guy! It was while there a few weeks ago that I stopped to think how much of my time was being stolen by my television. I mean, really, if you were just told you only had 24 hours to live would you go plop down in front of the television? I know I wouldn't. I was a SERIOUS news junkie. I spent a lot of time following politics. I am now getting more info faster on the Internet from all the same sources. I also just realized it was not having the television that led me to start finishing the Spiritual Cinema Circle CD's I had been "too busy" for before!
Not everything is here. I don't know where stand-up fits or a relationship fits in yet. I do know I can always count on surprises that will await me! This past week my lap top crashed and after waiting a week my vendor said his tech guy ran off with my lap top and disappeared to Las Vegas with a girl he met on the Internet and intended to marry. Usually I'm all for love birds but NOT WHEN THEY TAKE MY LAP TOP WITH THEM! Shortly after that, I found myself needing technical people that know JAVA and CSV (email if that's you). I attracted these things for a reason and know it's already helped me focus and gain more clarity on what I need to attract in order to make things happen. I'll wait to see what other benefits it brings me!
Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Gee Chris! Ryan sure got you doing some serious thinking.
Funny you should say that about TV. I haven't watched it much for years. My daughter (now 15) started watching lots of TV over the last year or so. She stopped playing a musical instrument and the TV slowly crept in.
Then, recently, she's been saying she gets bored watching it, and wants to go out and do other stuff. That's a good thing!!
And I'm really curious Chris - where's your lap top now?
Did you have backups of all your stuff? That's one good thing about the Net, most of our stuff these days is stored on other computers (web servers).
Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Well I stored most everything online so most of my stuff is there.
I hadnt backed up my act program and persoanl data for 6 months. So I have to rebuild like people's private phone numbers. I'll be sending requests when I get set up.
I cancelled that order and called Dell. They were to overnight wed, They called Friday saying they had a problem with the shipping address and are sending Monday.
Yeah the movie really got me thinking. I have relly been geting this really strong feeling that I'm not thinking BIG enough, not gettinng rid of every shred of doubt before creating.
Every time I contemplate it my vision gets a bit bigger and I think of somehting more.
This is happening at a time not without its own challenges so it is interesting.
Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Wow, Chris!
What a Powerful post!...I can feel your energy!
As you told Ryan's story...I am reminded that children are such amazing intenders, attractors, and allowers!...and that we are "hardwired" to be that way...but sometimes we lose that connection as we become adults...as you said, "How many of us would have scaled back our dreams to fit what we perceive as 'Reality'?"
Not me!! I create my own reality!!...and it feels GREAT! :>)
Thanks again for your Powerful post, my friend!
Bob
Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Hey Chris!!
What a treat to meet you and chat for a bit last evening. I just read your post about the TV. Woo hoo!!
I stopped listening to TV on a regular basis in April 2003 and haven't missed it one minute. It instantly took FEAR out of my life. Then in March 2004 when I was able to be reunited with all my stuff from storage, my 55 inch TV with the BOSE Surround Sound was donated to Unity. They use it as a movie only unit and the kids love it!
Two weeks ago I gave away my last TV. I still feel a small one may come to live with me again because I like to watch DVDs very occasionally (like Spiritual Cinema programs) but for the most part, I'm TV-free.
When we next connect let's talk about non-profits -- that is a developing area of my work and has come to the front of center of what I am doing. It brings abundance and prosperity in very special and wonderful ways. The more you give, the more you receive and then the more you can give and ..... it goes on and on and on.
Blessings, love & light from sunny Texas

Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Thanks Bob! You are a master creater for sure!
Yes Halye it was wonderful. I havent figured it out yet but there is really a trong energy around you!
Cant wait to chat again.
Writing it down made each stronger for me and your responses have made it even more of a done deal!!
Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Hey Chris,
What awesome ENERGY!!!! The wells that you create, involve yourself with, will last for generations to come.
Kudos, for getting rid the TV thing. Both Kat and I hardly watch TV anymore. On top of that we rarely read a newspaper. What we have done in the absence of all that bad news, is to create a Yahoo group that delivers only good new stories.
Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Chris...
Thanks for sharing Ryan's story!!
I'm especially struck by the way it has inspired
you to 'dig wells'...and perhaps what I'm also
getting is a tending to 'wells' already dug and
by cleaning them out we open them to the flow...
Wow...I so appreciate the inspiration from you, thanks,

Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
Congrats, Chris!!
I do share lots of your vision, here...about TV, certainly.
Well, I can do without but my husband has the habit to push the button and fall asleep in front of it.
This could make me crazy!!!
Now, I just wait until he's asleep and turn it off :o)
I light a candle, burn some incense to clean the bad vibes and go on browsing or posting on PI.
BTW, how do you watch the Spiritual circle CDs without your TV, now?
Thanks for this inspiration,
Marcelle
Re: (Ryans Well) Ryan's Well....... This kid ROCKS!
wow Chris, you have inspired me no less.
I have always wanted to started a not for profit down here in australia, and even looked into it last year.
Looking forward to hearing about it
