Dee commented on my entry below: "I'm realizing that doing nothing is still doing something" ===========
One of my favorite sayings is that vision without action is simply wishful thinking. Action is what activates everything around you! The more focus and energy on your goal, the more you draw more of the things you need to accomplish your goal.
Doing nothing has great power but without your decision regarding what to focus on we're back to that drunken monkey, LOL. Telling someone no and not doing what they want can be just as powerful as taking action and doing something.
Doing nothing in other areas of your life is just as powerful, however, without contrast you donï¾t notice. People offer great contrast for you to enjoy. If you do nothing now about a situation you want to change and it doesnï¾t change there's no contrast. For most people it's just another month gone by like the last.
Other people offer you the chance to see the power of "inaction" when they ask you to ï¾take Actionï¾ and you say, no. Their reaction gives you ï¾contrastï¾ that you don't have in many other areas of your life. In fact I know some folks that give you a lot of contrast when you say "no" to what they want you to do and instead do nothing. You have to thank them even more because they give you a chance to have a lot of contrast in your life.
For many people if there's not someone conflicting with them over there "inaction", they never notice the power it's having in their life.
After all, when's the last time someone ran up to you and said, "HEY, Whatï¾s the matter with you; you're still not living your dream!"
IMHO, if that was happening more people would be living their dreams today. Think about it?
To be anble to say: "HEY, Whats the matter with you; you're still not living your dream!" IMHO requires some qualities or attributes that some people do not have, or choose to use. I am working on some of them myself. such as:
Actually caring enough about the person to ask the question.
Being confident I have a vehicle to help them live their dream.
Willingness to assist them in pursuit of their dream... why ask if you won't help.
Willingness to be rebuffed
Having enough clarity in my vission, so others can see though my actions and my lifestyle, what that vission is. AKA walking the talk.
Wonderful things to think about Chris!
I think you really nail it when you say, "After all, when's the last time someone ran up to you and said, "HEY, Whats the matter with you; you're still not living your dream!"
IMHO, if that was happening more people would be living their dreams today."
BTW...thanks for being such a magnificent model for "Living your Dream"!!!!
Here's to a Happy and Powerful 2005!

Thanks everyone. It is so much fun to share with everyone and get feed back I have been out of town but will be making my rounds to all your blogs to see what you've all been up too.
Namaste!
Another powerful thought may be that in doing nothing, it is actually a choice. If I do nothing about anything, whether I like to admit it or not, it is my choice to do nothing. In translation, if someone runs up to me to ask me why I am still not living my dream, I have to decide if my response is that I AM living my dream, or, I've chosen NOT to live my dream. Something to think about.
Happy New Year, Chris - Glad you are back!
