Your Introduction Page is your single most important tool.  When you meet someone on the street or they walk into your store the first order of business is usually introductions and a short conversation about "who you are".

Commit your goals to writing and you drastically increase your chances of success.  Share your dreams with others and you add power to it! People that put it in writing do better!

Blogs are online diaries or journals where people write their thoughts, poems, or anything else that comes to mind.  One of the things you MUST HAVE is a blog.  Why? Because search engines love blogs, your customers love blogs and their easy to do. 

They get their name from the original term "web log", which people eventually shortened to "Blog". 

Your Blog will become one of your most important traffic generating tools.  

There are two main ways people use blogs.  One is as a personal diary and the other is to promote their products and services. 

All you have to do is log in and "create an entry".  This can be about anything you want.  What you did today, what you plan to do tomorrow or anything else you want. 

From a business stand point you should know that search engines love blogs.  they love the fresh content and the idea that it's coming form "real people".  They take that as one of the highest recommendations possible on the Internet. That's why they weight (list more highly in searches) links from blogs.  Many businesses start out by simply posting there company newsletter in a blog.  Over time their blog becomes rich with desirable content even though it is essentially nothing more than a list of all their company newsletters.

Blogs can have a tremendous impact when used for personal purposes and this is how millions of people use blogs every day.  You can use your blog as an online diary.  Writing about anything you want!  Look at other blogs here at Powerful Intentions and you'll see there is no right or wrong way to blog.  There is power in writing your intentions and having a blog lets you write it down - and keep a record - any time you have an inspired thought.  It also allows others to comment and join you in your intentions.  You can mark you blog "private" if you like and then it can only be read by you and becomes just like a personal diary only online!

Forums are a great way to meet like minded people and create valuable relationships. 

 

 

Forums are one of the most under used resources.  Search engines love forums. They quickly move up to the top of the search engines on key words that get used in the forums.

Forums are very important for two reasons. One they're one of the best places to meet people. You can find forums on just about any topic you can imagine.  Every time you post in a forum your name and a link to your profile is included.  This creates a valuable link to your Introduction page that search engines like.  Over time you may find your Introduction page coming up high in search engines just by having been a prolific poster to other people's forums.
