I am trying to attract a specific person and I see a lot of progress but I also noticed a pattern.

I try to visualize us being together. I try to make it as realistic as possible and make if feel as if it's happening now. I do this every night while I'm in the bed. After a while I will notice 'negative' results. Whenever this happens and I am "negative" about it, everything goes back to normal and it's like I did the visualization for nothing however, when I think 'positive' even when I get 'negative' results (while keeping in mind the universe knows what it's doing) I notice within the next few days, that person is extra nice and flirtatious to me.

To put everything in a nut shell:

If you try to manifest something and you see an 'opposite' affect keep being positive or you will have to do more visualization to repair those bad thoughts.

Remember: Everything comes to (s)he who waits....

You should really try this...

I dont understand this oh so common desire to attract specific people, I havent met anyone i feel that way about... I think who ever does this is just lazy, and doesnt want to put fourth visualizing all of the qualities they want in their "true love" so they just want to attract whatever fits that closest who is around at the time.

Just because you've never met someone you feel that way about doesn't mean the rest of us haven't. Did you ever think that the reason we are trying to attract a specific person is because they possess the qualities that we are looking for?  If the person I'm trying to attract didn't have those qualities I'd have given up on attracting him a long time ago.  So it's not just a matter of trying to fit the closest match around at the time. I'm 44 yrs. old and this man is the ONLY one who matches all that I've been looking for my entrie life.

Hey, some of us haven't even been looking for anyone anyway, but then someone comes along and you sense a soul connection, (don't know what else to call it) and even though you don't want the connection, it's there, and won't go away, even though you don't actually know the person yet. It's so weird but that is my situation, so why on earth would I want to be trying to attract somebody I've never seen, just because someone has come along and changed my life on a soul level? I wasn't trying to attract anyone before, and see no point in trying to do so now, cuz it is only this person who I feel this connection with. I didn't even want it, but it's there and I just have to accept it amd hope that the connection will reveal what it is at sometime.

There must be. I intend reading a book about twin souls soon, (I've got so many books to get through) and see if I learn anything from that, if I find anything I shall report back here about it. ;-)

I believe love will find people even if they are not specifically looking for it. Love is an energy all its own, the book "Path to Love " by Deepak Chopra explains this more.....Tagan, I definitely agree with you, about trying to attract a specific person.
