THE SECRET MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE - Tonight I found myself at the Tahoe Independent Film Festival, but I felt like I was more at a rock concert when saw Rhonda Byrne, Rev. Michael Beckwith D.D. and Bob Proctor walk through the door. In fact I acted like I was at a rock concert. I was screaming their names as they walked in for the World Premiere of The Secret and the kick off of my Law of Attraction Tour!.
But before I share these pictures I have some words for Paul.
You see him to the left with Marcy and Rhonda. He wasn't there. Paul I'm coming for you. I am gonna party with YOU!
Ok, got that out of the way.
The house was packed it was sold out show (sounds like a Foreigner song, huh).
Here's the play by play. Start to finish. To the left you can see how beautiful the place is. That view can be seen through just about any window in the place.

All my Law of Attraction friends; Dinny, Megan, Leslie, Candace and her mom came and we all had dinner together. Leslie and I car pooled from Reno and arrived as they finished. I was so happy to be at the first public screening with other Powerful Intentions members! I met Dinny because of a blog entry I made here at PI! She found me when searching on her friends name and finding my blog entry. We are all now great friends and having an LOA party in Truckee tonight! Think appreciation rampage!

People began arriving. It was packed well before it started. The Secret was the opening film for the entire festival!
It was powerful to see the first public screening of The Secret with Rhonda, Bob Proctor, and Rev. Michael Beckwith D.D. I felt more moved this time than ever before.

Above you see Rhonda Byrne with PI members that turned out to experience it.

After the show everyone involved in the show posed for pictures.

Ok, maybe the last two pictures don't belong there. Paul and Marcy weren't there, but they will be next time because I'm already plotting and that picture represents my intention. I didn't want to have an uneven column so I added the girls we met in the parking lot while waiting for the valet to bring our car.
They were locals and said they loved "The Secret". They also advised me not to wear socks with sandals. I swear I learn something new every time I watch The Secret!
I feel like I've been at Disneyland for a week! Rev. Michael Beckwith said, "Man your just on fire for life aren't you" and I said I was. I told him to see The Secret with everyone was a really powerful experience for me because I talk to people every single day that have had their lives changed by it. I could tell he had complete understating.
So I am just sitting here in appreciation buzzing on that natural high that comes from spending your evening with so many people that warm your heart. A sincere Namaste to everyone. I 'm a kid in a candy store.
What an amazing life we are all so blessed to have.
The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship.
It is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship.

looks like you all had sooooooo much fun!!
I wish there were more events like this in the UK for us to share in...
however, I notice Bob Proctor is giving a workshop in London on September 10...any other Londoners planning to go?

Chris...
How was the audience's reaction as a whole? Did you talk to people afterwards? Were they just blown away? Were they on fire like we were? Did they "get" the ramifications of the film?
Wish I had been there, but my son is definately ready for his first day of junior high! He was so excited he couldn't sleep last night! This is a kid who hated school. I was definately in the right place last night.
Hugs and High Fives!!!
Christina
thank you for sharing the pictures!!! hope the response from the audience was a positive one, which i believe it was.
I just want to generally make a rampage of appreciation to the Universe in gratitude for having the opportunity of being at the showing of The Secret last night. (whew, that felt like some kind of a mouthful, hope not too much of an eye full). It was the 7th or 8th time I had seen the movie, but this was the first time on a really big screen with a full powerful sound system.
A question was asked about the audience response, I just know I felt a lot of energy when it ended and the lights came on and I certainly didn't notice anyone leaving during the showing.
As I was watching it from a big comfortable chair, I reflected on how easily I could have missed this experience and been at home watching television instead, how happy I felt I was where I was and I got an immediate rush of goose bumps as I thought that thought. Law of Attraction helped me get to that chair, and it definitely felt like a little nudge from Source, acknowledging my emotions!
And of course the big bonus was seeing the presenters, and meeting them and best yet hearing the love from them as they each spoke a little about the film before it began. It was huge for me!
Thank you Chris for making the personal introductions too....that was the icing on the cake.
Blessings for a great day to all!!!!!

Thanks so much for letting us be there vicariously with you, Chris! What a grand experience you had!
As for the socks with sandals, here's another "no" vote from me, and a thank you to your friends from the parking lot. They're clearly doing their part to create a better world.
BUT...there are some connoisseurs of that...um..."style":

Julia...what a hoot!!!
Who would think there would be a whole website to express
an opinion about socks with sandals!!!
LOLOLOL
All right all right, guys.
I say if the guy wants to wear socks with sandals then go right ahead, it doesn't bother me one iota. You can even make it your staple on this website.
You have my vote of YES. If you want it that is.
This is REALLY exciting!!! Thanks so much Chris for putting up all the pictures for us to see! This will make the history books!
As to socks with thongs, mmmm. How do you get your toes to stay in there?
I appreciate everyone helping me with the sock crises.
Indeed I thought they must be from out of town as here in Tahoe just anout anything goes, but when I asked they said they were local. That concerned me because something would have to REALLY have to be off for peopel in Tahoe not to think its ok!
So I have 3 votes NO
and 1 vote YES
I used to wear a hat all th time. Maybe the "socks" coudl be my signiture thing LOL. But then when it snowed Id have a probelem :(
Julianne it does take some effort to wear your socks with sandals., You have to get the kind with an open toe. From there it is imperative the socks are purchased specifically for teh sandals.
Its all about intention LOL. Maybe I should post pictures of my feet in cvarious socks :)~
ANd I have ANOTHER party tonight at the lake with people from teh showing two oweeks ago! Man do I live a ccharmed life!
Unless I get more yes votes I gues the socks are gonna have to go!
really think if I had posted a picture of my toes there would have been more "yes" votes for the socks!
Well Chris, I think if you're going to wear thongs with socks, you really should wear lime green shorts with them too!!
You have a great dress sense, wear whatever feels good LOL!!
Oh My God!!!!
You guys are just nuts and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!
Chris you wore socks with sandals?
OK I have seen your toes, so yeah, only you would now turn this into a
"Brand"!!!!
And Julia, I died when you posted that site, what a rip!
I spoke to Rhonda by phone last night and Chris and they both were
totally flying!
Chris, thank you so much for your post, the pictures, energy and humor
really made me feel like I was there, hey I WAS, and know I know it!!!!
And I am so excited that everyone is getting to meet each other
and that more and more people are being exposed to the secret!
Not to mention socks with Sandals!!!!!!!!!!!
To everything exciting and fun I say
YES! YES! YES!!!!

It sounds like an absolute blast. I can feel the energy from here (3,000 miles).
Oh, the sock thing? I'm definitely a NO-SOCKS person. C'mon, it's only a short drive to South Beach. Heck, I have been seen wearing slacks, dress shirt, neck tie, and NO SOCKS.
We have a saying down here: "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem!"
PEACE
